Financial Heist: A group of thieves targets a bank rumored to store ancient gold blessed by Freyr. The heist attracts the attention of the Scions.
Uruz
Raging Beast: A wild, powerful aurochs has been sighted rampaging through the city, possibly the result of a divine curse or enchantment.
Thurisaz
Troll Gang: A gang of trolls is causing trouble in an underground nightclub. They are looking for something valuable, and the club owner needs help.
Ansuz
Cryptic Message: A mysterious message appears on the Scions' phones, containing ancient runes and a riddle that leads to a hidden location.
Raido
Lost Tourists: A group of tourists is hopelessly lost in the city, and their guide has disappeared. They claim to have seen visions of a ghostly carriage.
Kenaz
Urban Fire: A fire breaks out in an abandoned warehouse. Within, the Scions discover a fire elemental seeking revenge for being imprisoned.
Gebo
Corporate Merger: Two rival corporations are merging, and both CEOs are under the influence of powerful artifacts. The Scions are hired to investigate.

Street Festival: A street festival is interrupted by supernatural occurrences, including spontaneous blessings and omens that need interpretation.

Hailstorm: A sudden and unseasonal hailstorm strikes the city, causing chaos. It is the work of a disgruntled frost giant.

Desperate Residents: Residents of a city block are being terrorized by a gang that has acquired a divine artifact. They plead for the Scions' intervention.

Frozen Park: A local park is suddenly encased in ice. An ice spirit claims it as its domain and will only leave if its demands are met.

Urban Harvest: Community gardens are flourishing unusually well. A nature spirit is responsible, but now demands recognition and offerings.

Mystical Tree: A tree in the city center starts glowing with mystical energy. It is a gateway to another realm, guarded by spirits who test the worthy.

Underground Casino: An underground casino run by a rogue deity offers high-stakes games with divine artifacts as prizes. Winning comes with unexpected consequences.

Sacred Site: A construction project threatens a hidden sacred grove in the city. The spirits of the grove seek the Scions' protection.

Solar Flare: A solar flare causes city-wide blackouts and strange magical phenomena. Scions must determine if this is a natural event or divine intervention.

Prophetic Event: During a dawn ceremony at a local temple, a prophetic vision occurs, foretelling a significant event or danger that the Scions must address.

Family Heirloom: An old family heirloom is discovered in a pawnshop, tied to a powerful and ancient lineage. Its discovery attracts divine attention and potential threats.

We get to sit down with Daniel M. Davis of Steam Crow and the Monster Rangers and get to talk about his Monster Rangers RPG and successful current Kickstarter.
This tabletop roleplaying game (ttrpg) features Monster Rangers - kind of like adult boy/girl Scouts - who BELIEVE, STUDY, and PROTECT OUR MONSTER FRIENDS.
Set in 1913 in an alternative United States of Liberty, the RANGERS deal with VILE CULTISTS, WILD AND DANGEROUS MONSTERS (who don't want to be saved), and EVIL MONSTEROLOGISTS who seek to command their monster magiks.

Fate is an award winning ttrpg that is story centric, and great for pulp. We use it as our house system for everything we run here at Steam Crow HQ, so it was clear that we should use FATE for this game. 
Pay what you want for Fate pdf here. We also recommend the Fate SRD site for a free online game reference.
While the MRRPG is described in FATE RPG terms, it is largely system agnostic; 95% of the game is explaining the setting, the Monster Ranger Branches, and their foes.
If you want to use a different game system, go for it!

Attendees of TusCon are among the most dedicated fans of science fiction, fantasy, and horror and many attendees are professional writers, film producers, artists, and reporters who keep others informed about the goings-on in the industry.
TusCon is an annual science fiction convention sponsored by the Baja Arizona Science Fiction Association (BASFA), a Southern Arizona section 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. The primary focus of TusCon is science fiction, fantasy and horror, but we also pay attention to art, animation, science, media and gaming.
